Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center in O'Neill will hold their annual spring fundraiser from seven until 8:30 p.m. on Sunday April 6th at the O'Neill Community Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The special guest speakers are Alan and Lisa Robertson from the Robertson family featured on the TV show Duck Dynasty. They have served in ministry for over 35 years and Al was a pastor for more than 22 years. Together he and Lisa share their story of brokenness, restoration, and healing in their marriage, as well as speaking on behalf of the unborn and the pro-life movement. A Goodwill donation drop-off trailer will be at the O’Neill Community Center from Tuesday, April 8th through Friday, April 11th. The trailer will arrive at the O’Neill Community Center after 12:00 p.m. noon on Monday and will be picked up by noon on Friday. Donations of clothing, shoes, and household items will be accepted.

A “God, Mom, and Me” Tea event will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 10:00 until 11:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Yankton, South Dakota. The Wayne State College Woodwind Chamber Ensembles will perform Monday, April 14th in Ley Theatre. The 7:30 PM concert is free and open to the public. It will also be livestreamed. The 5th and 6th grade students at St. Mary’s Catholic School in O’Neill will be performing their annual ‘Passion Play’ during Holy Week. They will be acting out the moments leading to the death and resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. The play will be performed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill on Wednesday, April 16th at 7 p.m. and Good Friday, April 18th at 3 p.m. (the time Jesus died on the cross).
